Debora Halbert is the Vice President for Academic Strategy. The position serves as the chief academic officer for the 撸sir视频 System with overall responsibility for leadership, planning and intercampus coordination of academic affairs, student affairs, policy and planning, institutional research and analysis, international and strategic initiatives and 撸sir视频ʻi P–20 Partnerships for Education.

Prior to taking her current position, Halbert served as the 撸sir视频 System Associate Vice President for Academic Programs and Policy and 撸sir视频 撸sir视频 Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

She earned her BA and MA in political science from Western Washington University and her PhD in political science from 撸sir视频 撸sir视频. After teaching for 12 years at Otterbein University in Westerville Ohio, she returned to 撸sir视频ʻi to take a position in the political science department teaching law, policy, and futures studies.

Halbert’s term will last through June 2024 at which time she will return to her faculty position at 撸sir视频 撸sir视频.
