The University of 撸sir视频ʻi at Hilo athletics program recognized their student-athletes at their annual 撸sir视频 Hilo Vulcans Athletics 2023–24 All-Sports Banquet last week, at The Arc of Hilo.
player Nicholas Gomez and player Kiersten Saludares took home the male and female athletes of the year, respectively, while the men’s golf team claimed the Vulcan Team of the Year.
The Imua Vulcan award was introduced to the honors, recognizing one male and one female student-athlete for making strides in their personal athletic journeys. The recipients for this award were player Kalique Mitchell and player Megan Donovan.
player David Mayser and women’s soccer player Filippa Graneld were honored as the Joe and Harriet Estrella Male Scholar-Athlete and Sakai and Harue Wakakuwa Female Scholar-Athlete, respectively, for earning the highest cumulative 撸sir视频e point average through at least five semesters as a Vulcan.
