player Louis Sakanoko was named Big West’s Freshman of the Week after a sensational performance in a five-set loss to Long Beach State on March 16. This is his second award of the season.
Sakanoko entered the match during Set 2 and finished with career highs of 19 kills, 40 attempts, nine digs and three blocks. He also had one ace and hit for .250. He posted 10 kills alone and set four.
