Scores of University of 撸sir视频ʻi 撸sir视频 connected with about 30 prospective tech employers at the held at the 撸sir视频 West Oʻahu in February. The fair was part of the series of events, aimed at preparing and linking 撸sir视频ʻi’s young people to information technology careers in local companies.
Participants were able to interact with industry leaders, learn about the latest trends, and explore internship and job opportunities in rapidly evolving fields.
Loea Akiona, director of student development and career development at 撸sir视频 West Oʻahu, was pleased with the event, especially considering it was only the second fair of its kind held on the west side. The first took place in the fall at 撸sir视频 West Oʻahu.
“We were thrilled to host a diverse range of esteemed employers across various sectors and industries,” Akiona said. “Students were able to speak at length with recruiters and professionals, gaining valuable insight into the industries.”
The Careers in IT and Cyber Fair was coupled with the held the next day. Both fairs provided opportunities for 撸sir视频 seeking internships, planning for their first job, or exploring career options for the future.
